Bluebell praise – poem

There is a moment,
After the daffodils,
Before the cow parsley,
When bluebells ring spring’s praises
In a haze of purple hillside.

  1. Lovely short, powerful comment on the wonder that is new life. The first line is so gripping. We have all had ‘moments’ but saying ‘There is A moment’ is reminding us there is a moment we all share – we are simply being reminded. Then the build up of breathless anticipation/heartbeat of mother nature seen through the length of the lines and the use of the comma. The continuous pulsation of life. The last two lines show the world taking a long breath as if to say WOW at the end! Positive. Full of hope and promise. Sense of success. Simply gorgeous.
